Desktop Works was founded in 1992 by me,
Desktop Works was started as a side project for specific clients that had growing computer network needs. While keeping my networking skills sharp, Desktop Works kept costs down for my client's businesses by avoiding the high cost and risk of developing their own IT departments.
I worked for FOX from 1987 until 2007 as a Systems Administrator and Director of Operations. As you can imagine, a broadcast station's various systems range from simple office networks to complicated audio/video routing, processing, and storage. Since 1991, when I fixed our first IBM 286, I have had the opportunity to work with, build, and repair every operating system since then.
Late 2007 I left FOX to pursue Desktop Works full-time. Desktop Works specializes in providing businesses with cost effective choices. From simple computer repair to out-of-the-box plug-n-play networks, Desktop Works can assist your company with all computer and network needs.
